The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Sunday's Best NCAAB Bet

Florida State Seminoles at North Carolina State Wolfpack (Pk, 137.5)

Seminoles star Chris Singleton went down with a broken foot two weeks ago and all seemed lost for his team. But now, the only thing standing between Florida State and sole possession of third place in the Atlantic Coast Conference is a trip to Raleigh.

And the Seminoles have had no problem playing away from Tallahassee this season. The squad is great at taking its defense on the road, going 7-5 SU and 6-6 ATS in opponents' gyms this year. On the season, opponents are shooting a mere 36.5 percent from the field this season against the ‘Noles, the lowest average in the country.

Over the team’s past 97 games, 94 opponents have failed to break the 50 percent shooting mark.

Florida State is actually poised to improve on those numbers--if that’s possible. Ian Miller, Xavier Gibson and Terrance Shannon all recently returned from injury, bolstering the squad’s bench and making it one of the deepest teams in the league.

"When you take into consideration that Xavier is just trying to get back," head coach Leonard Hamilton said. "Terrance is coming off of surgery. Ian is trying to get back, acclimated. It's really still difficult to assess where they really, really are."

Florida State might not be the top team in the ACC, but it can do enough to dispose of a weak Wolfpack for the second time this season.

Pick: Florida State

PICK 'N' ROLL

Sunday's Best NBA Bet

New York Knicks at Atlanta Hawks (N/A)

New York head coach Mike D’Antoni says his team’s offense remains a work in progress. Judging by a pair of losses to the Cleveland Cavaliers over the past few weeks, that’s an understatement.

D’Antoni told reporters this week the addition of Carmelo Anthony means the team is going to run many, many more isolation plays than earlier this year. Also, with guard Chauncey Billups a few steps slower than even the recently-departed Raymond Felton, the offense will be forced to be more deliberate in its approach.

"We’re always going to be a little bit of an iso, one-on-one kind of a team, which, to be honest with you, is pretty good," D’Antoni said. "I think we’ll meet some place halfway in between, because we don’t want to lose what Melo and those guys do the best. A lot of it is going one-on-one. They’re the best in the league at it."

But how effective will that style be against the Hawks?

Not very. Anthony is just 29-for-73 from the floor in his past four games against the Hawks (2-2) and has scored much more effectively against Atlanta over that span by getting to the foul line. Expect the team’s offense to eventually gel with Billups and Anthony. Just don’t expect it to be in Atlanta.

Pick: Hawks

Sunday's Best NHL Bets

Washington Capitals at Florida Panthers (149, 5.5)

With goalie Semyon Varlamov suffering a knee injury that will keep him out for up to 10 days, the Capitals will be forced to turn to Michal Neuvirth full-time. But that might not be so bad.

Neuvirth has given up a mere five goals over his past three starts, winning them all. Over that span, he has a sparkling .943 save percentage and an equally stellar 1.67 goals-against average. Before the injury to Varlamov the duo has split time, but now with the recent play of Neuvirth, it appears the youngster has the opportunity to seize the No. 1 spot.

"It's been a big opportunity for me playing every game, and that's what I like," Neuvirth said. "We've got a tough schedule ahead of us but I think I can handle it."

And it’s not like the Panthers have been scoring a lot of goals.

Florida has just six goals over its past six games and is a mere 1-5 over that span. Not surprisingly, the team has converted only one of its past 20 chances on the man advantage. Overall, the Panthers are averaging a mere 2.4 goals per game, the 28th lowest total in the league.

"We’re professionals here, and it doesn’t matter what place you are in," Florida defenseman Mike Weaver said. "We have some new faces and bodies. We just have to work hard, outwork the other team."

Pick: Capitals

Nashville Predators at Calgary Flames (-135, 5)

Three weeks. That’s how long it’s been since the Predators cracked the three-goal mark. Over that span, the team is just 3-6 and has notched a pathetic 15 goals. One of the players taking the most heat over this drought is Swedish forward Patric Hornqvist.

The dynamic skater has 18 goals this year but has lit the lamp only three times over his past 19 games. Nashville is hoping a recent score against Vancouver will shake him out of his funk.

"Some guys in here have to step up and I am one of those guys who has to score some goals," Hornqvist said. "Of course you want to score, no question about it. As long as you get chances, the goals are going to come."

But the goals have come in spades lately for Calgary. The Flames are continuing to be white hot with their wide-open style, notching 14 goals in their past three games. During that stretch, Jerome Iginla (4 goals, 3 assists) and Renee Bourque (3 goals, 2 assists) have been nearly unstoppable in the offensive zone.

"This year," Iginla said, "especially in the last 30 games or two months or so — we've felt like whatever the score is we can come back."

Pick: Flames

Sunday's Betting Tips: Green Emerging For Celtics

Who’s Hot

NHL: The under is 5-0 in Vancouver’s last five overall and 4-1 in Anaheim’s last five overall.

NCAAB: Boston College is 6-1 ATS in its last seven overall.

NBA: The Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games.

NBA: The Cavaliers are 5-1 ATS in their last six overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five home games.

Who’s Not

NHL: The Islanders are 1-4 in their last five overall.

NCAAB: Georgia Tech is 1-6-1 ATS in its last eight overall and 0-5 ATS in its last five home games.

NBA: The Bucks are 1-5 ATS in their last six overall and 0-5 ATS in their last five home games.

NBA: The Hawks are 1-4 ATS in their last four home games.

Key Stat

49 – Official number of penalty minutes racked up by New York Islanders left wing Trevor Gillies in his last two games, which came almost a month apart due to a nine-game suspension stemming from his first offense against Pittsburgh on February 11. Gillies delivered a blindside hit in his first game back against Minnesota on March 2 and the NHL dialed up a 10-game suspension for him later in the week.

The Islanders host New Jersey on Sunday and they are also expected to miss defensemen Mark Streit (shoulder), Radek Martinek (lower body), and Milan Jurcina (groin).

As for the latest victim of a Gillies’ cheap-shot, Wild right wing Cal Clutterbuck (upper body) is questionable for Sunday’s home game against Buffalo. Cam Barker (upper body), Cody Almond (lower body), and Chuck Kobasew (flu) are also questionable for Minnesota.

Injuries That Shouldn’t Be Overlooked

Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith suffered a strained right MCL on Monday and missed Wednesday’s win over Chicago and Friday’s loss to Oklahoma City. He practiced on Saturday, though, and is expected to return to the lineup when Atlanta hosts New York on Sunday.

“It’s cool,” Smith told the Atlanta Journal Constitution after his workout. “Obviously I am thinking about it and being more cautious. I’ve got to play with a clear mind. If I think about re-injuring it I probably will. I’ve just got to get [accustomed] to that brace. For the most part it felt all right. I think at this point it is going to be what it is. I’m just going to get treatment as much as possible and try to go tomorrow.”

The Knicks have even more problems on the injury front. Ronny Turiaf (knee) and Bill Walker (knee) are both questionable while Chauncey Billups (thigh) is doubtful.

Biggest Game On The Slate

Wisconsin Badgers at Ohio State Buckeyes (-7, 128.5)

Notable Quotable

“I’ll say it again: I know for a fact there’s nobody in the country asking their freshmen to do more than we are. It’s not even close. Other teams have freshmen that are playing well but if they don’t, they're OK. We’re not in that position. These kids have to perform.” – Kentucky head coach John Calipari, whose freshmen-led team is set for a road contest at Tennessee on Sunday afternoon

Tips And Notes

After 55 seasons, Georgia Tech will be playing its final game in Alexander Memorial Coliseum when it hosts Miami on Sunday afternoon. "We hope there is one final game against Miami where everybody comes out and supports the student athletes and pays homage to the building," said athletic director Dan Radakovich. The fans--or lack thereof--have not had much to cheer about with the Jackets wallowing at 11th in the Athletic Coast Conference. However, freshman Jason Morris has been inserted into the starting lineup over the past three games and that move has paid off--including with a blowout win at Wake Forest on Thursday. Morris went for 13 points, three assists, and four steals against the Deacons. He has made six threes in those three games after having drained a total of 13 during his first 26 outings.

The Celtics and Bucks may have trouble fielding teams for Sunday's clash in Milwaukee. Well, not really; but the injury reports are borderline ridiculous. The Bucks will likely be missing Andrew Bogut (ribs), while Ersan Ilyasova (concussion) and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (flu) are questionable. Boston will be without birthday boy Shaquille O'Neal, 39, who is expected to miss his 13th straight game with an Achilles' problem. Glen Davis (patellar tendinitis) is out, while Delonte West (ankle) and Von Wafer (calf) are doubtful. The good news for the Celtics is that newly-acquired Jeff Green appears to be settling in nicely. After scoring a total of 18 points in his first three games with the team, Green contributed 21 on 8-of-11 shooting in Friday's win over Golden State.
